I’m Tamara, born and raised in the UK and have now been living in the Bahamas for over 10 years.
I am a mother to two brilliant children and since they started school, I have relished the opportu-nities that have allowed me to spend time assisting with children’s clubs and activities.
As an adult leader in the Girl Guide Association, I have been fully embracing the association’s mission to help the girls I work with ‘achieve their fullest potential as citizens of the world’ through fun activities and exercises, both in England and The Bahamas. I was a shy child, and being a part of the organization since I was 10 years old, provided me with a support network and mentorship that helped me grow in confidence during my shyest times; a place where I felt I belonged.
I knew that the choice to become a Kids Life Coach would equip me to better support boys and girls by providing them with that same mentorship and sense of belonging that I had been af-forded. This way I can reach more children and empower them to believe that they have every-thing they need to achieve their highest dreams and potential. The Kids Life Studio® program allows me to provide children with a safe coaching environment, where they can be themselves without fear of judgement or labelling and equip them with the skills they need to thrive in any situation.
During my coaching sessions I teach children skills to help them achieve happiness, motivation and inspiration throughout their lives. This will help them to make healthy life choices, set goals and overcome obstacles, seeing them rather as challenges that they can find a solution for.
My areas of most interest are self-esteem and bullying prevention. I believe all children can rise above the challenges of peer pressure and bullying in childhood, and respond to such with posi-tivity and kindness when equipped with the right tools such as empathy, confidence, gratitude and respect.
Through coaching, I am fulfilling my passion and mission to help children believe the lines from my fvourite song which my son and daughter sing at school:
I am a promise,
I am a possibility,
I am a promise, with a capital ‘P’,
I am a great big bundle of potentiality. – Bill & Gloria Gaiter
I look forward to supporting your child in discovering their possibility and potentiality.
